Should he stay or should he go?

I don't know and I don't care. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and a former Catholic, I'm in a unique position to have an opinion and I find that I just don't care. The problem with the church I love isn't the pope. The problem is the bureaucracy of the church. The problem is the unrealistic sexual dogma. If you make what comes natural a sin and a crime, then it seems to me you set the system up for crimes that are much more grievous. Covering up the little things priests do because they are human and can't help acting like humans leads to a system that can and will cover up larger crimes. I have no hope that the church can change enough to stop this kind of thing.
