Fort Hood on Peace Day
I just want to offer my condolences to the people who were killed and wounded in the Fort Hood shooting and to their families. It saddens me to hear of all the recent shootings all over the world. Just this morning I heard of two other shootings, one in Japan and one in Russia. I know peace is possible. It just feels very unlikely.

The Fort Hood shootings saddened me so. I had thought of blogging about it today (or yesterday now) but I was at a loss for words.

These incidents discourage me a little bit too. But then they remind me that the struggle for peace is worth it.
