Here's a picture that I really like that I used the color technique Eyad taught me on. I don't have a Manic Monday post this week but I hope to have a Ruby Tuesday post. I'm busy getting ready for our backpacking trip.Hope you had a great 4th of July!

Not only is it a great picture, but it's a terrific effect too.
Wow, that is a great picture and definitely a technique on the "need to learn" list.
Wow - you did a great job with that effect. I haven't graduated to people yet with selective color in b&w.
Kudos.
This is just amazing
im so happy that you getting very well with that
i just love it !!
thanks
hugs ~ Eyad
Really cool Marilyn. Cheers!!
Travis: Thank you
Jamie: It's a lot easier than I thought. You set the picture up as two layer in an editing program. I used gimp. You make the top layer black and white and the bottom layer color and then you make the part you want color transparent on the black and white layer. Painting the transparent part is time consuming but worth it. Eyad does this with masks and he showed me how but my software is a little different than his.
Mo: It's easy to do but time consuming. It would help if I were as talented at photography as you and Eyad are. You just can't make a crummy photograph look great.
Eyad: Thank you so much. That means a lot to me.
Matt: Thanks. Sorry I haven't been by lately. Life's been pretty crazy. I'll go visit now.
