This Mountain Smith pack was Andy's but it never fit him right. I have a longer torso and it fits me much better. It's also a great pack for carrying heavier loads which is good because it is ginormous, even though it isn't filled very full in this picture.

Great photo for RT :)
That can't be Jasmine in the picture with you-is it?? Holy cow she's grown up since the last time I've seen a picture of her!!! She's beautiful. :)
Thom: Thanks
Mags: I frequently feel like punching the college boys when we're out and about. She's only twelve and she is beautiful (I know all Mom's think that about their kids but she really is). For some reason she thinks she's ugly. I don't know what I can do about that other than tell her how pretty she is.
So does that mean that you carry the heavy loads?
Travis: Not really. We try to carry about the same amount of weight but whoever is using the red pack gets more bulky things and fewer small, dense things. I'll probably carry the food and Andy will carry the tent and stove, but we end up spending hours figuring out how to go about it. However, the mountain smith pack is really comfortable with the heavy loads, compared to my old pack. We really need to lighten up but two weeks is a long time to be on the trail. We want to have everything we might need.
