Dead After Dark vs. Twilight

Dead After Dark Vampires:

1. Are really dead.

2. Must sleep (or be dead in a dark place) during the day.

3. Their blood has healing properties for humans.

Twilight Vampires:

1. Don't ever sleep.

2. Sparkle in the sunlight.

3. Are venomous.

This vampire distinction service is brought to you by my total inability to come up with blogworthy posts.

Well thank you for this... I never knew :) I would say it is blogworthy in it's on way. :)

I think it is blogworthy!
Yeah - that whole never sleep and sparkle thing in Twilight kinda bothered me. I mean, why would they sparkle???

Thom: Thanks :)

Mo: I'm not one for horror and I liked Twilight just fine but I like the Dead After Dark vampires better. The books are more grown up too. And I love the main character.

Sandy: Thanks. :)

I've always preferred the Ann Rice version of vampire lore. She gives them an elegance that enhances the deadly danger in their nature.

I vote that this is a blog worthy discussion and case my preference for dead after dark.
