No, I'm not talking about me when I was single.
It's Monday, so I don't want to spend much time making breakfast. Dry cereal is expensive and Jasmine has decided she doesn't like oatmeal, so I'm making muffins. They are in the oven now. Here's the recipe, in case you are interested. I just made it up. If it flops I'll tell you about it in comments, but I make enough muffins that I'm pretty sure it won't.
Easy Oatmeal Spice Muffins
1/2 cup white flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
3 Tablespoons dry milk powder
1 egg
1 cup of cold water
Mix everything up. Fill greased muffin tins about 2/3. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes.

Yummy. And the oatmeal will hopefully keep her happy till lunch... lots of times muffins don't. All sugar and no substance.
Jasmine says: "They're okay."
Mmmmm this sounds pretty good! I'm not able to throw any baked goods together w/o a recipe. But I have altered some and hoped for the best.
jasmine is dang lucky to have you. I think you should enlighten her on this fact. :)
Sounds yummy!
Doesn't it suck how expensive name-brand cereal is???
There are usually bagged cereals somewhere in the cereal aisle - I didn't care for the generic cheerios one, but the generic raisin bran one was good.
Julie: I've just been doing it so long that I've learned what doesn't work the hard way.
Callie Ann: She thinks I'm mean. She'd rather have Frosted Flakes without the milk.
Travis: Thanks
Mo: Jasmine has been caught eating those bagged cereals dry. The puffed wheat one is her favorite. They just don't last very long.
